I love your new images, although I can't imagine one baring breasts in the middle of the night never mind in broad daylight...hehehe. What an amazing amount of work to create the night time and leave the little bit of light required to illuminate this beauty. Then your next piece leaps to the clean, crisp lines against the night sky. It is no surprise that your images are getting the recognition you deserve.
If I were rich, one of the first things I would love to do is establish a gallery (physical place, books and online) for the 21st Century creative artists in the world who are leading the way for new and imaginative ways to create art. Yours would be among them.

Hallo Mario,

Ich habe 7 jahre lang in Koeln gewohnt; von 1986 bis 1994 rum, in Koeln-Deutz und Koeln-Kalk und u.a. im Dom Hotel auf der Dom-platte (Dom-Platz?) gearbeitet.
Ihre Photos, sehr gute photos/bilder/arbeiten uebrigens:), rufen Gefuehle und Erinnerungen hervor, die ich schon lange nicht mehr gehabt hab. Viele Gebauede kenne ich jedoch ueberhaupt nicht, ist wahnsin wieviel sich veraendert hat seitdem ich von Koelle weggezogen bin.
Wie entstehen diese Effekte in Ihren Bildern?

Sorry, my German has suffered over the years, since I left Germany I haven't really spoken any german and forgot a lot of the grammar. But believe me when I say that I loved Cologne back then and I still do know, and miss it an extraordinary amount. Your pictures bring a lot of memories back, and I'm grateful for that:)

über Dor!na ;-) bin ich bei deinem Fotostream auf Flickr gelandet. Ich bin sprachlos. Das eine Foto bzw. Fotoobjekt ist noch schöner als das andere. Ich könnte sie mir alle aufhängen und den ganzen Tag bestaunen. Du könntest vermutlich einen ganzen Louvre damit bestücken.

Ich bewundere solch überfließende Kreativität und Ideenreichtum. Eine Seite voller Wunder = wundervoll. Hut ab.

As a newcomer to digital designing, I was absolutely intrigued by your beautiful photo creations in the latest Somerset "Digital Studio" mag. Thank you for your insights on working with textures and exploring blending modes. Your words inspired me to go outside and take photos of different textures such as cracks in the asphalt, birch trees, the clouds in the sky, etc. to practice making textures. There really is a "Charm of Darkness."
